BDO series  prodcuts - BYD
  1,4-Butynediol(BYD):its molecular formula is HOCHC≡CCH₂OH;  is colorless or light yellow crystal that can dissolve easily in water and ethan-ol, but not in ether or hydrocarbons,It's solidified product can deliquescence easily when exposed to air temperature of over 25℃. It is poisonous, and possesses chemical property of dihydroxy primary alcohols that could have progress into additional reactions.

Major Uses
  BYD is mainly used to produce BDO and its downstream products, such as poly (butylene terephthalate)(PBT), polyurethane (adhesive and chain-extending agent), tetrahydrofuran, γ-butyrolactone, N-methyl pyrrolidone, polyvinyl pyrrolidone. It is also the major raw material of vitamin B6, as well as a brightening, preserving agent and inhibitor for nickel plating.
Package and transport
This product is packaged with knitted sacks (Lined internally with plastic sacks and thermal sealing) and weighs 20kg per pack. Due to its chemical properties, this product must be hermetically stored in cool and dry places, and kept away from fire source and heat source. Deliquescence should be avoided. It should not be placed together with strong alkaline substances, and avoid contact with skin. During transportation, the product must be labeled the warning sign of fire and damp prevention. Product must be loaded or unloaded lightly to prevent damages to its packaging that will affect the product quality.
